FinTech Proposal
In this project you are given an opportunity to work as a team. Teamwork is essential in current workplace. You are likely
going to be part of multicultural and multi-skilled small teams operating in high pressure environment facing technology
as well as business derived obstacles.
Task
Your task, as a team of FinTech specialists, is to propose solution to a problem faced by one of your companies, prepare
20 minutes pitch presentation for Accelerator/Incubator or internal Change Management Program.
Team
Small groups (~5 students) will be formed around week 2. By default groups are formed following the alphabetical order.
Each student is expected to take on a role in the team and deliver as a team as well as an individual. Consider mission
critical roles such as CEO, CFO, COO, CTO, CMO or Team Lead and other Subject Matter Expert roles. The team
members are responsible to clearly decide on team’s governance structure and member’s role definition and allocation.
Consider writing down and asserting to General Rules for Team’s Task Behavior inclusive of free rider identification and
conflict resolution.
Deliveries
Team presentation is assessed on team component (30%). The written part of this project is in a form of FinTech Sales
Pitch Presentation not exceeding 25 pages in total inclusive of references and appendix. Each team member is
responsible for 3 pages/slides out of the 25 pages from the presentation. Presentations will start from week 8 and end at
week 10. Remember, as a team you are competing for funding or access to an accelerator program, hence authenticity
and realistic implementation is expected.

Guideline for FinTech Proposal Assessment
Suggested Approach
“The Art of Startup Fundraising, ultimately founders need two different sets of pitch decks. One version will be
with a lot of text and information which will be shared with people via email (…Written FinTech Proposal
Component submit end of Oct All Teams…). The other version will be the pitch deck that entrepreneurs
present to investors in person with more visuals. Having more visuals will contribute to having investors
focused on you (…Scheduled Team Actual Presentation Date..)
In essence, the threekeys to powerful pitch decks that get funded are:
?Clear and simple
?Compelling
?Easy to act on”

TEAMS
Why we talkin’ teams…
Unleashing the power of small, independent teams
Small, independent teams are the lifeblood of the agile
organization. Top executives can unleash them by driving
ambition, removing red tape, and helping managers adjust to
the new norms.

How to build a kick-ass agile team
“Once the team is in place, it’s important to remember that agile teams are like individuals: they take time to
grow. Agile theorists often quote Tuckman’s “stages of group development.” Agile teams go through four key
phases as they develop.”
