1)The paper will be available from: Friday 13th January 2023 at 09:30am GMT
2)The deadline for submitting the exam is: Saturday 14th January 2023 at 09:30am GMT
3)The exam is individual work, carried out upholding the values of academic integrity.
4)This TAP has a notional ‘work time’ of up to 8 hours.
5)The material needed to answer the questions is covered in the module.
1.Your answers should be analytical and critical. They should synthesise source material, make links and suggest alternative perspectives, analyse where arguments are strong and whether there are any omissions, and evaluate arguments weighing up the evidence and come to a conclusion.
2.Plan your writing well by underlying the key words of the question. Refer back to these key words throughout your writing to ensure you keep on track.
3.Acknowledge and cite where your ideas come from. This not only avoids plagiarism but also shows that you are part of a conversation about a particular topic.
4.Be consistent in your use of referencing. If your referencing is messy and inconsistent it is a clue that little care was taken with the actual writing.
5.Not all sources are the same. Use academic sources (journal articles, books) or sources such as reports, newspaper articles, podcasts, TED talks.
6.Conclude clearly.
6)You may either type your answers into a new document (clearly labelling each answer), or write your answers directly on the?exam paper (removing any optional questions that you have not chosen).
7)There is a limit of 2000 words for the whole paper, excluding references.
8)Submit a Word or PDF version of the exam paper using the appropriate link on Canvas. Please note that for a file to be accepted by Turnitin, your submission must be a single file and must include at least 20 words of typed text. 9)To ensure your anonymity in this assessment, please do not write your name anywhere in the final submitted document.
