International Year 1 (Business and Economics)
Dear International Year 1 Students, (September 2023 Intake – set in English session 1 w/c 18th March 2024)
Your final English speaking mark will be based on individual Poster Presentations which will take place in English classes during the week of the 22nd of April 2024. You need to produce a poster presentation (one Slide) on PowerPoint or similar, and talk for up to 5 minutes on your poster (which will be displayed electronically on the board), and allow 5 minutes for questions from classmates and the teacher.
Think about an area of interest to you over the coming week and try to decide on a title – you will need to submit your topic and title to your English teacher for approval by the start of the next teaching week. There are some example topics and titles below, but feel free to think of your own.
Best wishes, The IY1 English team
